I’m passionate about making trauma care accessible to everyone, everywhere. I know from personal experience how important it is to feel seen, heard, and supported—and that’s what motivates me in my work.
I believe sharing our stories is powerful. It helps normalize trauma, grief, struggle, and vulnerability, and reminds people they are not alone. I’m driven to stand up for the vulnerable and advocate for those whose voices are not being heard—because everyone deserves care and compassion.

I joined CareImpact because I wanted to feel better supported and equipped as a Trauma Care Trainer with Trauma Free World—and it has been life-changing.
Here’s what I love about my work with CareImpact:
✅ Being part of a community of professionals who encourage and equip one another
✅ Gaining new skills through coaching and collaboration with fellow academy trainers
✅ Helping connect churches with agencies and organizations to serve vulnerable people better
✅ Sharing my story to inspire others and bring trauma-informed care to communitiesWhether working with churches, foster and adoptive families, or frontline workers, I’m passionate about helping others understand trauma and care well for those impacted by it.

I live in a small town near Georgian Bay in Northern Ontario, where I love being surrounded by nature. Spending time outdoors, reading novels, and writing are some of my favorite ways to recharge.
I’m also a:
✔ Foster, adoptive, and biological parent
✔ Parent of children with exceptionalities, including neurodiversities
✔ Advocate for foster and adoptive communities
✔ Lover of meeting new people, building connections, and hearing people’s storiesLife isn’t always easy, but community, compassion, and care make the journey lighter.
-
I dream of a world where trauma care is part of every community—where churches, organizations, and individualsare equipped to walk alongside people in their pain.
🌱 Trauma care should be for everyone, everywhere.
💬 Our stories matter—and sharing them brings healing.
🤝 Communities grow stronger when we care for the vulnerable together.Through CareImpact, I’m honoured to play a part in making this vision a reality.
Get in touch.
It all begins with a story.
Maybe you’re walking alongside someone impacted by trauma. Maybe you’re part of the foster or adoptive community looking for encouragement and practical tools. Or maybe you just believe, like I do, that care should be for everyone, everywhere.
Whatever brought you here, I’d love to connect. Let’s talk about sharing stories, equipping communities, and creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and never alone.

More of THIS, Please...
When do you feel most like yourself?
What brings you joy?
What little things are making your life delightful lately?
Does your worldview have room for these kinds of questions?
In January, I kept seeing variations of “more, please”. Instead of simply making new years resolutions or goals, people were paying attention to their actual, real lives and the things that were nourishing them. They were moving into a new season with a “what’s working and what’s out of sync” mindset instead of a radical self-renovation project.
