HEALTHY COLLABORATION
Because it takes a village… and if we want to go far, we must go together.
When the whole Church engages well with the whole community, holistic solutions are born. As the Church we can easily embody cultural patterns of siloed services and even competitive ministries. Yet we have not been given the Spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). In our unity we will be known as disciples of Jesus, display the gospel and communicate the message of Jesus (John 17). The scope of challenges facing children, youth and families in Canada and the diverse demographics of our communities require an all-hands-on-deck approach to care. Only through listening and collaborating across differences and divides between agencies, churches, organizations and cultures will we discover paths to long-term hope, healing and health.
